Thousands of active duty military travelers have a place to call home at Miami International Airport, thanks to the Military Hospitality Lounge operated by the Armed Forces Service Center.
This facility, opened several years ago, to, replaces the USO lounge that was a victim of USO budget cuts in 1999. Now funded entirely by local donations, and manned by an all-volunteer corps of hosts and hostesses, the AFSC Military Hospitality Lounge, needs your help to keep its worthwhile efforts going.
The facilities are provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and the Miami-Dade County Commission. However, normal operating costs (such as food and beverages, supplies, equipment and related expenses) must be covered by outside sources.
Whether you are a patriotic American, an active duty member, a veteran, or just wish to say “thanks for your service” please make a donation of any size today by clicking on the “Donate Now” button below.
The AFSC is a recognized 501C charity and 100% of your tax-deductible donations go toward the operational expenses for the lounge.
